UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs announces travel ban to Iran, Lebanon, and Iraq

In light of ongoing instability in the region, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) has announced that UAE nationals are temporarily prohibited from traveling to Iran, Lebanon, and Iraq.

The decision comes as part of a series of precautionary measures introduced by the UAE government in response to current regional developments. Authorities have also strongly advised Emirati citizens who are already in these countries to leave immediately and return home as soon as possible.

The Ministry reaffirmed its ongoing commitment to the safety and well-being of UAE citizens abroad. Officials stressed the importance of following all official travel advisories and safety instructions issued during this period.

For those currently in Iran, Lebanon, or Iraq, the Ministry has urged individuals to stay in contact and seek assistance if needed by calling +971 800 44444.

These steps reflect the UAE’s proactive approach to protecting its citizens during times of uncertainty, ensuring they remain informed, supported, and safe wherever they may be.
